Philip Slade & Robert Thackery

Philip Slade is the Creative Partner

He first teamed up with Robert to work on the MAXjet airline account, but stuck around to help relaunch Robert’s agency as t7F London.

Although an Industrial Design graduate Philip’s first job was at Smash Hits magazine before accidentally landing a role as an Art Director for Saatchi & Saatchi. Four and bit years later when he was just coming to terms with how advertising worked he became Creative Director of Europe’s biggest promotions agency, IMP (now Arc). He left to form the award winning integrated agency: Hicklin Slade & Partners, and later founded the ideas business, Passion, that was merged into The Pulse Group. Philip is honorary Vice President of the MCCA, a fellow of the RSA and a member of The Marketing Society.

Robert Thackery is the Planning Partner

Robert has worked in marketing communications for over 25 years.

Business experience – both UK domestic and international – is extensive.  He has worked at a senior level in a wide range of market sectors and with a large number of major blue chip companies.

He cites his particular areas of business interest as travel, audio, retail, booze, automotive and professional institutions.

His experience in the automotive industry ranges from running the Toyota and Renault accounts at BMP and Publicis respectively, working with Unipart at FCB and more recently in t7F with both HR Owen (BMW) and harman/kardon.

He is married, has two sons and two dogs – in that order of precedence.

When younger he gave his body to rugby which gave it back, but not necessarily in the same condition.
